Implementing new systems and solutions typically involves migrating data from existing ‘legacy’ systems.

This is usually the most complex part of a systems implementation project as many points have to be considered, for example:

  • What data is going to be migrated?
  • Data that is not going to be migrated – how is it going to be accessed for historical reporting, legal compliance, auditing, etc?
